Who We Are
The Appalachian Artisan Center (AAC) is a nationally recognized nonprofit based in Eastern Kentucky. For
over 25 years, we've empowered people, including those in recovery, to transition into stable, creative work
through artisan training, economic development, and cultural revitalization.
By investing in the arts, we help rebuild lives and strengthen entire communities — all while preserving the
heritage that makes Appalachia unique.

What Is the Autumn Jamboree?
The Autumn Jamboree is a celebration of Appalachian creativity and resilience, bringing the mission of the Appalachian Artisan Center to Lexington for one unforgettable evening. It’s both a fundraiser and a heartfelt gathering — an opportunity for friends and partners to support real transformation in Eastern Kentucky. Held in the Kentucky Room at Fasig-Tipton on September 25th, the event will feature:
• Live music
• A silent auction highlighting regional artists (and maybe a live portion too!)
• Delicious free food and a cash bar, with plenty of opportunities to connect, celebrate, and support
