PROGRAMS

Programs
The AAC offers various forms of programs as the art center for this region. Our programs take place in 4 art studios: Luthiery, Blacksmith, Ceramics, and Fibers. We also offer incubator studios for artists to rent as their own art sector within our building.

We are also home to the Culture of Recovery program, serving our center as a place of healing and to take positive steps toward combatting the opioid crisis through arts and healing.

The “Culture of Recovery” Project at the Appalachian Artisan Center partners the arts with local substance abuse recovery programs and the healthcare industry to bring a holistic and art-integrated approach to the fight against addiction in our region.
