Workshops:

Workshops are primarily held on Saturday's. Keep an eye on our calendar and Facebook page for upcoming workshop dates! Workshops can be anything from ceramics to blacksmithing and so much more! It is best to pre register to save your seat.

Exhibitions:

Appalachian Artisan Center’s mission is to bring to our community works of the many talented artists from Appalachia. Our exhibitions are free and open to the public.

Dulcimer Museum:

This permanent exhibition of instruments honors many local dulcimer builders and players including Uncle Ed Thomas, Jethro Amburgey, Jean Ritchie, and Homer Ledford. The Museum, at Appalachian Artisan Center, can be viewed during normal business hours.

Family Fun is a great way to spend an evening with your family while making art! Varying lessons each week for young artists to explore and express themselves while teens and adults experiment with clay in our ceramics studio!

Family Fun happens every Thursday! It's FREE!
