The ninth annual Spring Celebration was held on May 8, 2015 in the May Stone Building on the campus of Hindman Settlement School. Before dinner began, more than 100 attendees enjoyed witnessed live painting by artists Lacy Hale and MonaRae, ceramic hand building by potter Mike Ware, and woodcarving by Terry Ratliff. Additionally, author Debbie Hodson, artist John Marcum, master luthier Doug Naselroad, and his apprentices, staff and students from the Kentucky School of Craft, and soap makers N&S Farms were on hand to exhibit their work. Entertainment for the evening was provided by musicians Brett Ratliff, Shawn Stamper, and John Haywood.

Following a keynote on creative placemaking in the community by Kentucky Arts Council Executive Director Lori Meadows, participants were able to bid on an array of items including unique local art and donations from area businesses. More than $7,500 was raised to support the operations and programs of the Center!
