Ray Slone:

Ray Slone has a Masters Degree in Education with majors in Math and History/Political Science and minors in English and General Science. Ray Slone taught 33 years in the public school system. Ray’s musical roots go back to his great-great grandfathers. After retiring from teaching high school math and history, he has devoted his time to teaching children and adults to play the fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin and dulcimer. He is a master artist with the Kentucky Arts Council and played fiddle for the Carcassone Dancers at the Smithsonian Festival in July 2003.
